Situated on 860 acres of World Heritage site, in the Gooderson Drakensberg Gardens Golf & Spa Resort, Fairways has a spectacular view of the only 18 hole golf course in the Southern Berg. From November to March we have lush green rolling hills and azure blue skies, while from April to June the leaves turn to vibrant reds and burnt oranges.

In July, the snow caps the peaks of the mighty Drakensberg mountain range and occasionally blankets the golf course like a white tablecloth. This season is best enjoyed in front of a warm and romantic fire, melting marshmallows and mugs of steaming hot chocolate – an extreme contrast to the December heat. When the bursting buds and the greenery returns once again, it announces that spring has sprung in the magnificent Drakensberg. Besides boasting a magnificent backyard, Fairways is renowned for its superb self-catering units available in four, six and eight sleeper units, as well as a wheelchair friendly unit. These stylish units each have a fully equipped kitchen including a washing machine and tumble dryer, limited DSTV, individual braai facilities, telephones and all the luxuries of home! The units are serviced from Monday to Saturday. Should you require a Sunday service, this can be arranged at a nominal fee. During your stay at Fairways, you and your family will enjoy access to a variety of luxury recreational facilities offered by the hotel, including golf, fishing, bowls, tennis, putt-putt, hiking trails, horse riding and much more. The mini animal farm, pony rides, trampolines and playground will keep the little ones entertained for hours. There is also fun daily entertainment programmes or indoor arcade games, snooker, table tennis and videos to enjoy!

There are four restaurants on-site, which offer a buffet/carvery, a la carte, clubhouse and a bistro for lighter meals. There are also several pubs on-site, which offer snooker and darts facilities as well as big-screen TVs. There is also a mini-superette a stone’s throw away from the Resort for your convenience.
